Our Refurbishment Process for Quality Used Material Handling Equipment

Step 1: Comprehensive Operational Check

Our refurbishment process begins with a thorough operational check of all critical systems. This involves an in-depth assessment to ensure each machine operates at optimal performance.

  • Engine Condition: We inspect the engine for wear, leaks, and overall performance.
  • Brake System: We evaluate brake functionality to ensure the machine can stop safely and reliably.
  • Transmission: Our team checks the transmission for smooth shifting and operational efficiency.
  • Drive Train: We ensure the drive train components are in good condition and working properly.
  • Hydraulic System: A detailed inspection of the hydraulic system ensures there are no leaks and that it provides smooth and precise control.
  • Cooling System: We verify that the cooling system operates effectively, preventing overheating during heavy use.
  • Fuel System: The fuel system is checked for leaks and efficiency to ensure optimal performance.
  • Electrical System: All electrical components are tested for functionality, including wiring, batteries, and control systems.
  • Steering System: We assess steering responsiveness and accuracy to guarantee precise control.
  • Hoist & Tilt Cylinders: We inspect the hoist and tilt cylinders to ensure there is no damage, or leaks, & has smooth lifting and tilting operations.
  • Mast & Carriage: The mast and carriage undergo a detailed inspection to verify structural integrity and safe operation.
  • Attachments: Any additional attachments are also checked to ensure they function as intended.

Step 2: Visual Inspection

After the operational check, we conduct a thorough visual inspection of the equipment. This step helps to identify and address any issues with the machine’s external components.

  • Tires: We check tire condition for wear and tear, ensuring proper grip and safety.
  • Forks: We inspect the forks for structural integrity and proper alignment.
  • Gauges, Lights, Alarms, and Decals: All gauges, warning lights, and alarms are tested to ensure they work correctly, and safety decals are verified to be in place and legible.
  • Paint Condition: We assess the condition of the paint and repair any areas as necessary to restore the equipment's appearance.
  • Load Back Rest: The load back rest is inspected for stability and structural integrity.
  • Operator’s Seat & Seat Belt: We examine the operator’s seat and seat belt for safety and comfort.
  • LP Tank (if applicable): The LP tank is inspected for leaks and secure attachment.
  • Hood: We ensure the hood is in good condition and opens and closes smoothly.
  • Overhead Guard: The overhead guard is checked to ensure it provides sufficient protection for the operator. 

Step 3: Instruments & Accessories Check

The final stage of our refurbishment process includes a detailed examination of the machine's instruments and accessories to ensure all safety and operational features are in top working order.

  • Warning Lights & Gauges: We check all warning lights and gauges for proper operation. We ensure all dash components are clear and can be easily read.
  • Hour Meter: The hour meter is inspected to provide accurate usage information.
  • Headlights & Taillights: All lights are tested to ensure they are functioning and provide the necessary visibility.
  • Backup Alarm: We ensure that the backup alarm is operational to enhance workplace safety.
