We are thrilled to announce the opening of our latest Briggs Equipment branch in West Houston in order to better serve the burgeoning warehouse and manufacturing growth in the area. Opened on January 2, 2024, this new facility represents our continued commitment to providing unparalleled service to our valued customers.
While our current facility on the east side caters to the port business, the West Houston branch will focus on supporting the thriving warehouse and manufacturing sectors in the region, reflecting our commitment to being at the heart of Houston’s growth trajectory. The new location, just off the Sam Houston Tollway, ensures easy access for our customers, positioning us to provide optimal service to businesses in the area.
Housed in a spacious 39,000-square-foot building, our West Houston branch boasts a sprawling 30,000 square feet of shop space and an additional 9,000 square feet of modern office space. This branch will open with a team of 30 technicians, including five in the shop and 25 out in the field. The facility is designed to accommodate eight shop technicians and over 50 road technicians as we anticipate the increasing demand for our services in the West Houston area.
This new location will offer a wide range of services covering all our current Hyster and Yale product offerings, along with other brands such as Polaris, Princeton, and Taylor-Dunn. This location will also boast of Sales, Service, Parts, and Rental departments, ensuring our customers receive comprehensive support for all their material handling needs. The service area for the West Houston branch will cover everything within approximately 100 miles west of I-45 and northwest to College Station, making sure that we are well-positioned to meet the needs of businesses in the region.
